This week’s confection is Cook’s Illustrated Pumpkin Pie! Made with pumpkin AND candied yams, this spicy custard pairs great with their foolproof pie crust!
I had doubled the recipe because I wanted to bring one pie to work and one to a friend’s home, but ended up with enough crust and filling for THREE 9 inch standard pies. That’s great bang for your buck, people!
