For Christmas this year, I decided to make each of my staff a slouchy hat or beret. It seems to be all the rage these days and I thought it would be a fun gift.
These sets of hats were made from patterns founds in Slouchy Beanies and Headwraps by Lisa Gentry. Alterations to pattern to accommodate for the change in yarn width and needle size were by me. This is the “V-stitch” beanie with yarns from Isaac Mizrahi® Craft™:
And the lacy beanie (up top) and shells beanie (two below) with some chunky yarn I got on sale at Michael’s® a while back.
These sets of hats were made by patterns from Crochet Boutique Hats by Rachael Oglesby. Alterations were done by me to accommodate a change in yarn width and needle size, as well as to make a better fit. These are bulky shells beret made from Loops and Threads™ Charisma™ up top and Isaac Mizrahi® Craft™ below.
I found some gorgeous yarn made from baby llamas by Elsebeth Lavold® at my local yarn store and made the pineapple beret on the right. The left is a pineapple beret made from a skein of Red Heart™ Boutique Magical™ yarn.
Success! Merry Christmas!
