A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder

The Tony Award winner for Best Musical in 2014 was “A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder” and it is touring through San Francisco, California this month!

I had matinee tickets last weekend on a rainy Sunday afternoon, so I grabbed some essential snacks from Bristol Farms and headed off to the Golden Gate Theatre:

The theatre was hopping:

And rightly so!  This was great!

It’s a story about a man who finds out upon his mother’s death, that he is 9th in line to become an Earl.  It’s a comedic telling of how this man orchestrates the deaths of all his predecessors only to be accused of the one death he was not involved with.  It’s witty, it’s clever, and the music is fantastic.  I enjoyed every minute of this and was so sad when it ended.  Loved the set, loved the characters, and would love to see it again!
