Who says hotdogs are just for lunch? It was about 10:30 am when I headed out to Show Dogs in San Francisco this morning for brunch.
I started out with a tarragon blood orange soda:
I had tried their blueberry basil one before and liked it, so I decided to try a different one this time. This was not bad. It was made with fresh tarragon which went nicely with orange and was quite refreshing!
To eat, I couldn’t decide between two and so I got both. Ha ha. First is their chorizo egg muffin:
It features a homemade chorizo patty with so much flavor and juice. It went really nice with the arugala, egg, and cheddar cheese on a toasted english muffin. This is not your usual egg mcmuffin, people! This was on a totally different culinary level!
And a hot dog (of course!) – this is their sunrise dog:
Smoked maple pork sausage, egg and peppers, cheddar cheese, and arugula on an Acme bun. This was the perfect balance of sweet and savory with great texture from the omelet on top. The acme bun was a great vehicle to serve this on, though there was a little too much cheese on top for me.
